Week 4 - carrots radish, beetroot and dwalf french beans.

This week I have planet a bag if carrots, radish and beetroot. And have a bag left for more radishes in a few weeks. Also planets two bags of dwalf beans.

The balcony is now rather fall as you can see from the pics below. But I only have plans to replace the potatoes with new ones for Xmas so no new space needed for that. Also in aug I want to plant some strawberries but not sure where maybe I can get some hanging baskets somewhere.

First Post

I've started this blog as more of a away to keep track of what I plant on my balcony garden and how well it goes. It's also here for anyone who may be interested in what I'm doing.

So I started planting on my balcony a few months back and already have potatoes and tomatoes growing. See pics below

I also have some herbs planted I had them all in one pot but this got over crowded very quickly so this week end I split them between three pots. With mint in it's own pot, parsley and thyme in another and chives, sage and rosemary in a third. Again pics below.

I also decided to plan some lettuce so have added three grow bags with mini iceberg hearts and versatile salad in one. Winter salad and crisp head salad in another and as an experiment turnips and some of the left over salad seed in the third. Again pics below.

That's all for now I plan to update weekly.
